Casey’s Story

In 2025, Casey’s life changed forever after suffering a cardiac arrest while working out, that resulted in a severe anoxic brain injury. At the time of his accident, he was a new father to two young daughters; just 3 years old and 7 months old.

He beat overwhelming odds. Most signs early did not expect him to survive. The road afterward was long and difficult. Casey had to relearn nearly everything how to walk, talk, communicate, and navigate everyday life again. Before his injury, Casey was a Partner at Accenture, leading large teams and building an accomplished career. Recovery gave him an entirely new perspective on life, purpose, resilience and showed his true strength.

He was always the hardest working person in the room and now more than even did this prove true.

Through every challenge, he has continued to show incredible determination, positivity, and heart. Baking became more than just a hobby, it became a therapeutic tool. Making cookies has helped Casey rebuild confidence, regain independence, and reconnect with joy one step at a time.

Casey’s Cookies was created not only to share homemade treats, but to hopefully one day give back, spread kindness, and connect with the traumatic brain injury community; through hope and perseverance. Casey hopes that by sharing his journey, he can help others feel less alone and remind people that healing, purpose, and joy can still exist even after profound hardship.
